18-year-old student crowned Miss England 2018
Alisha Cowie beat 49 contestants to become the UK representative at Miss World held later this year.
The Miss England 2018 final took place on September 5 at Kelham Hall in Nottinghamshire with the participation of 50 beauties. Alisha Cowie, representing Newcastle, became Miss. The beauty received the crown from Miss England 2017, Stephanie Hill. |
Alisha Cowie is 18 years old and 1.73m tall. In the charity event, she raised over $25,000 for “Smiles for Nepal”, a charity that raises awareness about dental hygiene and supports dentists in surgery. |
Alisha was also awarded “Miss Talent” for performing a song in sign language. Alisha has hearing loss in her right ear. |
