Vinh University students have the opportunity to do internships in Japan.
(Baonghean) - This is one of the key contents recently signed by Vinh University within the framework of an international cooperation program with Japanese partners.
Recently, Vinh University signed a Memorandum of Understanding for cooperation with Jinno Academy, JIC Company, and the Pacific Business Innovation Association of Japan.
Accordingly, the parties agreed to cooperate in the following areas: Teaching and training in Japanese language; Receiving Vinh University students for visits, practical training, and internships at Japanese enterprises; Introducing nurses; Recruiting graduates; Cooperating in scientific research, training, and professional development of lecturers.
Simultaneously, the university collaborated with the embassies of the United States, France, Australia, Germany, and several foreign universities to organize seminars introducing study abroad programs. It also collaborated with the Israeli Embassy to organize an Israeli Culture Day at Vinh University; and arranged for the Israeli Ambassador to speak to faculty and students of the Faculty of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries about internship opportunities in Israel.

In particular, the university is undertaking the necessary procedures to join the International CDIO Association and the ASEAN University Network Quality Assurance (AUN-QA). Alongside this, several internationally funded projects have been effectively implemented at the university. For example, within the framework of the "Safe Farming System in Vietnam" project funded by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), since February 2017, experts from Inoue Calcium Company - Japan, in collaboration with lecturers from the Biology Department of Vinh University, have been testing safe biological products from Inoue Calcium Company to prevent and treat certain diseases in orange trees in Nghi Loc, Quy Hop, and Nghia Dan districts.
The trial aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the product on Vinh orange varieties under local climatic conditions and to submit a proposal to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development for licensing so that the product can be used in Vietnam as soon as possible.

According to Vinh University's assessment, the aforementioned international cooperation projects and activities have contributed to improving the quality of the university's operations in terms of innovating training methods, improving the content and methods of teaching and learning; and opening new majors and training programs to meet the requirements of the labor market.
At the same time, it helps schools increase resources and improve the effectiveness of scientific and technological activities; establish research links between schools and the production sector to connect training and scientific research with practice, and improve the effectiveness of serving the socio-economic development.

At the Vietnam-Korea Vocational College of Technology, by promoting international cooperation, the school has gradually standardized its teaching staff according to the criteria of a high-quality vocational school and developed training programs that meet the requirements of regional and international integration.
In addition to traditional cooperation with South Korea, the school is currently implementing an international standard training project between Vietnam and Australia, with two training courses in refrigeration and air conditioning technology, and electrical installation and control technology in industry.
Graduates receive both Australian and Vietnamese diplomas and can either enter the workforce or pursue further studies at universities in Australia. Furthermore, through a collaborative project with the British Council, the Vietnam-Korea Vocational College of Technology is one of six schools nationwide selected to partner in building a quality assurance system.

Alongside training cooperation, one of the key areas that the Vietnam-Korea Vocational College of Technology is promoting is cooperation with foreign businesses such as Posco Steel Group in Vung Tau, Hyundai, Samsung in Thai Nguyen and Bac Ninh, Emtech Vinh Tan, etc., to recruit students after training, provide internships, bring employees from businesses to the college for advanced skills training, commission training programs tailored to business requirements, participate in vocational skills assessment, and contribute to curriculum development.
It can be affirmed that international cooperation activities in recent years have contributed to promoting and enhancing the effectiveness of people-to-people diplomacy, consolidating and strengthening friendly relations with the people of countries around the world. At the same time, it has positively impacted the transformation of training models and, in particular, the training mindset of schools to serve the needs of learners, businesses, and society; contributing to improving the quality of human resources to serve the country's industrialization and modernization and international integration.
