SLNA won both friendly matches against SHB Da Nang.

The purpose of this training camp and friendly matches at Song Han Club is to help the players regain their feel for the game after a long period without playing; to reassess the professional level of some young players in order to accurately evaluate their abilities and determine how they can be used in the upcoming season. During this training camp, SLNA brought 26 players, including both young players and experienced ones. This training camp will allow the club's coach to review the capabilities of each position, and how to implement the new playing style and formation since Coach Huy Hoang took over.

In their first friendly match against SHB Da Nang on November 13th, SLNA won 4-3. In the first half, SLNA fielded players with years of V.League experience and took a 2-0 lead. In the second half, the coaching staff made several substitutions, resulting in a 4-3 victory. Young midfielder Nguyen Van Duc contributed two goals, while the other two were scored by Ho Phuc Tinh and a new foreign player on trial.

Although SLNA is still missing quite a few key players, overall in the two matches, the team from Nghe An has shown many positive signs in their gameplay. Many young players have demonstrated their qualities and have been highly appreciated by the coaching staff. Regarding foreign players, Olaha is a striker who has given the coach peace of mind; he has showcased his strengths with his ball control, disrupting the opponent's defense, and creating opportunities for his teammates.
