After completing his rehabilitation at the PVF center, Phan Văn Đức immediately traveled to Ho Chi Minh City to join SLNA and has had three training sessions with his teammates. The midfielder, born in 1996, is in good physical condition, has completed the entire training program of the team, and is likely to be fielded by coach Đức Thắng in tomorrow's match at Thống Nhất Stadium.
Before the match, coach Duc Thang shared: “After the loss against Ho Chi Minh City, we reviewed the footage and learned from our mistakes. Saigon's playing style this season is very diverse, relying on players like Quoc Phuong, Ngoc Duy, and the foreign players up front. I hope that the fans from Nghe An will come to Thong Nhat Stadium in large numbers to provide us with moral support.”

Phan Văn Đức seems to have a knack for scoring at Thống Nhất Stadium. Of his 9 goals in the 2019 V.League season, one was scored against Ho Chi Minh City FC and another in an away match against Saigon FC.
Before the match, both Saigon FC and SLNA had 17 points, but the team from Nghe An had a lower goal difference than their opponent and was ranked 5th. The match at Thong Nhat Stadium was considered a "six-point" game; if SLNA won, they would overtake their opponent in the standings.
During this period, the Nghe An team also welcomed several African foreign players for trials. According to regulations, the period for teams to register for the mid-season transfer window runs from June 11, 2019 to July 8, 2019.
