In Dak Nong province, coffee was purchased at the highest price of 64,800 VND/kg, a slight increase of 100 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Compared to last week, coffee prices at this time have decreased by 1,400 - 1,500 VND/kg, depending on the locality. In June 2023, domestic coffee prices averaged nearly 64,700 VND/ton, an increase of nearly 8,300 VND/kg compared to May.
According to the General Statistics Office, Vietnam's coffee exports in June are estimated to have reached 150,000 tons, worth 392 million USD, up 9.1% in volume and 24.3% in value over the same period in 2022. Thereby, the total coffee export volume in the first half of 2023 is estimated at 1.02 million tons, worth 2.40 billion USD, down 2.2% in volume, but up 3% in value.

Rice price increased by 100 - 200 VND/kg; transactions were bustling

Currently, farmers are offering to sell more, traders are buying at higher prices; the market is bustling. Many types of beautiful rice in the Hong Ngu and Tan Hong areas (Dong Thap), traders are willing to buy at 6,800 - 6,900 VND/kg.
Similarly, for rice, the price of raw rice has been adjusted up by VND50/kg, while the price of finished rice remains stable. Specifically, the price of IR 504 raw rice is being purchased at VND10,000 - 10,050/kg, an increase of VND50/kg. The price of finished rice remains at VND11,400/kg.
For by-products, the price also remained at 9,600 - 9,700 VND/kg for IR 504 broken rice and 7,600 - 7,700 VND/kg for dry bran. Meanwhile, at retail markets, rice prices have not been adjusted. Specifically, glutinous rice remains stable at 14,000 - 16,000 VND/kg. Regular rice costs 11,000 - 12,000 VND/kg.
In the export market, export rice prices remained stable at 508 USD/ton for 5% broken rice; 25% broken rice at 488 USD/ton and Jasmine rice was stable at 578 USD/ton.
According to businesses, in June 2023, domestic rice prices increased slightly at the end of the month. Rice prices remained high.
