Aiphor has officially announced a delay in the launch and delivery of its compact smartphone, the Bluefox Aura A1. The main reason for this delay is the slow approval process for the mandatory 3C (China Compulsory Certificate) due to a surge in product applications.
Reasons for the delay in the release of Bluefox Aura A1
According to the initial plan on the pre-order page, the Bluefox Aura A1 was expected to officially launch around June or July and begin shipping shortly thereafter. However, the July deadline has passed and the device has still not been released to users.
An Aiphor representative stated that the cause was not entirely the manufacturer's fault. The 3C certification body is facing a large backlog of applications, significantly prolonging the inspection time. Because 3C certification is a legally mandatory requirement for commercially sold electronic devices in China, Aiphor was forced to postpone the release until all necessary procedures were completed.
