Nghe An Department of Transport presents gifts to impoverished people in Keng Du commune.
(Baonghean.vn) - On January 14th, a delegation from the Nghe An Department of Transport visited, presented gifts, and extended New Year greetings to Keng Du commune, Ky Son district.

Here, the delegation presented 15 gifts to 15 students with particularly difficult circumstances, each worth 1 million VND; 80 gifts to 80 students who overcame difficulties; 2,000 notebooks to students in the area; and donated 6 water filters and 4 televisions worth over 30 million VND to the Border Guard Post, the People's Committee of Keng Du commune, and schools in Keng Du commune. On this occasion, the delegation also presented 14 gifts to 14 families in difficult circumstances.

The total value of the gifts is over 71 million VND. This amount was contributed by the staff and employees of the Nghe An Department of Transport to implement the policy of each agency/unit assisting one poor commune in the province.
