The Department of Science and Technology launches a campaign to support flood victims in the northern provinces.
The Nghe An Department of Science and Technology is calling on all its officials, civil servants, and employees to join hands in supporting people in the North affected by floods and heavy rains by donating at least one day's salary.
Upholding the spirit of solidarity and mutual support, on September 11th, the Trade Union of the Nghe An Department of Science and Technology launched a fundraising campaign to support people in the northern provinces affected by the recent Typhoon Yagi. Attending the launch ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Quy Linh - Director of the Department; the Board of Directors; and all officials, civil servants, and employees of the Department of Science and Technology.

Speaking at the launch event, Mr. Nguyen Quy Linh, Director of the Department of Science and Technology, said: Currently, the impact of the storm has caused enormous damage to people and property in the northern provinces, seriously affecting the economic lives of the people.

Upholding the tradition of national unity, with the spirit of "mutual support and compassion," "sharing food and clothing," and responding to the call of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, the Director of the Department calls on all cadres, civil servants, employees, and workers of the unit to contribute at least one day's salary each to support and assist people in flood-affected areas, helping to share difficulties, quickly overcome the consequences of damage caused by natural disasters, and quickly stabilize their lives.
