France

France is one of the most popular destinations and has relatively affordable tuition fees. Public universities in France have tuition fees ranging from approximately 5-16 million VND per year, depending on the level (bachelor's or master's) and program of study. Private universities will have higher fees, from 37-150 million VND per year.

Germany boasts some of Europe's top universities, yet offers affordable tuition fees, with many even being tuition-free. Whether you're from the EU or not, tuition fees are typically between 2.5 and 5 million VND per semester. This cost includes public transport and other student services.

However, it's worth noting that if you don't have an undergraduate degree in Germany but want to pursue a Master's or PhD here, the tuition fees will be very high, ranging from 500-750 million VND per year.

Switzerland

For EU and EEA (European Economic Area) members, tuition fees at Swiss universities are around 13 million VND per year. The same tuition fees apply to international students, except for five universities which charge additional fees. However, scholarships in Switzerland are only available to EU and Eastern European students.

Spain

Spain does not differentiate tuition fees between European students and those from other regions. If studying at a public university, tuition fees range from 17-35 million VND per year. Meanwhile, the figure for private universities is 33-54 million VND per year.

Finland

All public universities in Finland are tuition-free, regardless of your country of origin. However, since August 2017, non-EU-EEA students pursuing a Master's degree in English will have to pay an average fee of 37 million VND per year. Tuition-free options are available if you can study in Finnish or Swedish.

Older brother

Currently, tuition fees in the UK are quite high. For students from the EU-EEA and Switzerland, tuition fees range from 189-315 million VND per year. Students from outside Europe will have to pay up to 691 million VND per year. Despite this, thanks to instruction in English and a good education system, the UK remains a popular destination for international students.

Japan

Compared to the UK and the US, tuition fees in Japan are more affordable. At the University of Tokyo, Japan's most prestigious university, tuition fees for undergraduate students are approximately 100 million VND per year, and 150 million VND per year for postgraduate studies. If students wish to major in law in Japan, they will have to pay an additional fee of around 50 million VND.

Singapore

As a country with a high per capita income, tuition fees in Singapore are correspondingly high. Depending on the field of study, tuition fees range from approximately 170 million VND per year. Law has the highest tuition fees, reaching up to 280 million VND per year.
