Department of Health gives 116 Mid-Autumn gifts to children in special circumstances

On the morning of September 25, on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival 2025, the Nghe An Provincial Children's Support Fund (Department of Health) organized a gift-giving program for children being treated at Nghe An Oncology Hospital, Nghe An Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center and SOS Children's Village Vinh.

Attending the program were Dr. Le Thi Hoai Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Health; Master Nguyen Van Nam - Deputy Director of the Department of Health; representatives of departments and offices under the Department and leaders of the Provincial Children's Support Fund.

At the program, leaders of the Department of Health and the Children's Support Fund of Nghe An province presented 116 gifts, including moon cakes and cash, to the children.

Specifically, 50 gifts (including moon cakes and 200,000 VND/piece) were given to 50 children of SOS Children's Village Vinh; 60 gifts (including moon cakes and 300,000 VND/piece) to 60 children being treated at the Provincial Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center; 6 gifts (including moon cakes and 1,000,000 VND/piece) to children being treated at Nghe An Oncology Hospital. The total value of the gifts is 63 million VND.

Although the gifts are not of great material value, they show concern, sharing and encouragement for children in especially difficult circumstances who are undergoing medical treatment to have a warm and meaningful Mid-Autumn Festival; at the same time, spreading the spirit of charity in the community./.
