The Department of Health presented 116 Mid-Autumn Festival gifts to children in difficult circumstances.
On the morning of September 25th, on the occasion of the 2025 Mid-Autumn Festival, the Nghe An Provincial Children's Protection Fund (under the Department of Health) organized a gift-giving program for children undergoing treatment at the Nghe An Oncology Hospital, the Nghe An Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center, and the SOS Children's Village in Vinh.
Attending the program were Dr. Le Thi Hoai Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Health; Mr. Nguyen Van Nam - Deputy Director of the Department of Health; representatives from various departments and divisions of the Department, along with leaders of the Provincial Children's Protection Fund.
At the event, leaders from the Nghe An Provincial Department of Health and the Children's Protection Fund presented 116 gifts, including mooncakes and cash, to the children.
Specifically, 50 gifts (each including mooncakes and 200,000 VND) were given to 50 children at the SOS Children's Village Vinh; 60 gifts (each including mooncakes and 300,000 VND) were given to 60 children undergoing treatment at the Provincial Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center; and 6 gifts (each including mooncakes and 1,000,000 VND) were given to children undergoing treatment at the Nghe An Oncology Hospital. The total value of the gifts was 63 million VND.
Although the gifts may not be of great material value, they demonstrate care, sharing, and encouragement for children in particularly difficult circumstances and those undergoing medical treatment, helping them to have a warm and meaningful Mid-Autumn Festival; at the same time, spreading the spirit of compassion in the community.
