The program "Spring at the Border - Warming the Hearts of the Local People" was a resounding success.
On January 2-3, in Hanh Dich commune, Que Phong district, the Youth Union of the Social Insurance Department, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Youth Union of the Provincial Agencies Bloc, BIDV Bank - Nghe An Branch, and PG Bank - Nghe An Branch, in coordination with the Border Guard of Nghe An province, organized the "Border Guard Spring - Warming the Hearts of the Local People" and "Warm Winter - Volunteer Spring" programs for 2025.
The "Spring Border Guard - Warming the Hearts of Local People" and "Warm Winter - Volunteer Spring" programs in 2025 are being organized by the Provincial Border Guard Command, with the coordination of border guard posts, agencies, units, and philanthropists.
This is a major festival with meaningful activities such as organizing cultural and artistic events, games; visiting and giving gifts to village elders, community leaders, influential people, and poor families; and providing livelihood models to people in border areas. Through these activities, joy is brought to the people in border areas every time Tet (Lunar New Year) and Spring arrive.
Within the framework of the program, the Organizing Committee presented 11 gifts (each worth 700,000 VND) to village elders, community leaders, and influential individuals; 25 gifts (each worth 500,000 VND) to poor households in difficult circumstances; donated 10 bicycles (each worth 2,500,000 VND) and 100 cartons of milk to students; donated 2 goat breeding livelihood models worth 15 million VND; and presented gifts to officers and soldiers of Hanh Dich Border Guard Post (2 printers worth 7 million VND and 3 million VND in cash). The total value of the program exceeded 100 million VND.
