The 2024 "Youth and the Law" competition is in full swing.
On the morning of November 5th, Vinh University organized the "Youth and the Law" competition with the theme of preventing and combating the harmful effects of tobacco.

Attending the program were: Tran Linh - Member of the Central Secretariat of the Vietnam Student Association, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, President of the Provincial Student Association; Captain Nguyen Canh Tung - Secretary of the Youth Union of the Staff Department, Nghe An Provincial Police.
Representing Vinh University were: Dr. Dinh Ngoc Thang - Member of the University Party Committee, Rector of the School of Social Sciences and Humanities; Mr. Le Cong Duc - Director of the Center for Student Services, Support and Business Relations; along with a large number of faculty and staff, and over 500 student union members from the university.

In her opening remarks, Ms. Doan Minh Trang, Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union of Vinh University, expressed her hope that the competition would become a healthy playground for Youth Union members and young people. Through this, students would be educated about and learn about legal regulations and raise their awareness and understanding of the harmful effects of tobacco.
The competition involved 45 outstanding students, representing 9 teams from various units of Vinh University, including: the Youth Union of the Faculty of Education; the Youth Union of the Faculty of Economics; the Youth Union of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities; the Youth Union of the Institute of Engineering and Technology; the Youth Union of the Institute of Biochemical and Environmental Technology; the Youth Union of the Faculty of Foreign Language Education; the Youth Union of the Faculty of Construction; and the Youth Union of the Center for National Defense and Security Education.

The competing teams participated in three rounds: an introductory round, a knowledge test, and a skit round. Through these rounds, the teams showcased their creativity and understanding through theatrical performances, thereby contributing to conveying messages about preventing and combating the harmful effects of tobacco in the community.

The competition featured many innovative and creative approaches from the nine participating teams. Furthermore, the Vinh University Student Union organized interactive sessions with the audience, contributing to widespread and in-depth dissemination of information to a large number of students within the university.
