Son Tung M-TP scored a 'hat-trick' at the 2015 Green Wave Awards

In addition to the male singer, musician Tien Tien is also an artist honored in three categories of the annual music awards.

The 2015 Green Wave Awards took place on the evening of December 18 at Lan Anh stage in Ho Chi Minh City. This year’s awards continued to recognize the contributions of young artists. For the first time, two faces scored a “hat-trick” in the awards: Son Tung M-TP and Tien Tien.

Son Tung M-TP was in the "Top 10 favorite musicians", "Top 5 favorite singers - young category". His single "Am tham ben em" was "Single of the year". Young musician Tien Tien also achieved no less than Son Tung when she was honored in the "Top 10 favorite musicians", "Phenomenal song" (song Say You Do), special award from the organizing committee - "Author with many favorite songs".

Both young artists expressed their honor and happiness when being voted and supported by the audience in their artistic activities. "With these awards, I promise to always be creative and explore to bring healthy music to the audience," said Son Tung M-TP.

Noo Phuoc Thinh continues to reap success when receiving two awards - "Top 5 favorite singers" and "Music project of the year" with Maldives Love Story.

While in the bustling young singer category, the "Top 5 Favorite Singers" (Golden List) had no notable changes. The 5 winners of this year's awards were honored last year: Ho Ngoc Ha, Cam Ly, Le Quyen, Tuan Hung and Dam Vinh Hung. Cam Ly, Le Quyen and Tuan Hung were absent from the award ceremony.

The "Promising Face" award voted by music reporters went to Ai Phuong and Hoai Lam. The two hugged each other to congratulate each other amid the applause of the audience. On stage, the female singer burst into tears as she shared about the difficult times she had gone through. Starting her career as a model, Ai Phuong was always seen as a "long-legged singer". Because of that, she had to work very hard and was sometimes confused about the path she chose. The author of "Trot Yeu Dau Nhanh Cuoc Mat" sent her thanks to her father and late mother. This award is considered a launching pad to bring Ho Ngoc Ha, Ha Anh Tuan, Ho Quynh Huong, and Duc Tuan closer to the public.

Trong Hieu Idol won the "Discovery Face" award. This award is for young singers, discovered from many singing competitions during the year, who may or may not have been on the Blue Wave rankings, voted by an Arts Council. Last year, the O-Plus group from the "X-Factor 2014" competition received this award.

In the category for musicians, this year Hoang Touliver received the award for "Favorite Composer" with the song Tomorrow (performed by Toc Tien, composed by Luu Thien Huong). In the "Top 10 Favorite Composers", in addition to familiar names such as Do Hieu, Nguyen Hong Thuan, Chau Dang Khoa, Luu Thien Huong, there are new names such as Khac Hung, Tien Tien, Only C, Mr. Siro, Nguyen Duy Anh.
