(Baonghean) - The Prime Minister has decided to designate October every year as “Action Month for the Elderly in Vietnam”. This is a policy to promote the responsibility of society and children in caring for and supporting the elderly, while encouraging the elderly to make efforts to contribute to the development of society.
To help the elderly live happily, healthily and usefully

The economic and material life of the elderly has now improved, along with the general development of the whole society, especially in urban areas. However, a large number of the elderly still have very difficult lives. In Truong Thi ward (Vinh city), there are still 12 elderly people who are poor households, most of whom are not entitled to policies.
