Song Lam Nghe An faces many difficulties ahead of the 2024/25 National Cup quarter-final match against Dong Thap as the team lacks a suitable training ground.

During training sessions in preparation for the National Cup quarter-final match, Song Lam Nghe An was without the services of five key players: goalkeeper Van Viet, Cao Van Binh, defender Ho Van Cuong, midfielder Dinh Xuan Tien, and midfielder Nguyen Quang Vinh.
