Song Lam Nghe An launches new logo

Attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Hong Thanh - Member of the Executive Committee of Vietnam Football Federation, former President of SLNA Club; Mr. Truong Manh Linh - General Director and Executive Director of SLNA Club.

Song Lam Nghe An has always been considered a football team with a long tradition and achievements in Vietnamese football with a history of more than 40 years. In 2021, SLNA Club had many positive changes, so the team's leadership as well as Nghe An fans realized that the club needed a new, more modern and professional logo.

Launched from September 2021 to December 2021, the Composition CompetitionlogoSLNA has received special attention from many authors and fans across the country with nearly 1,000 entries. Among them, there are many quality works, expressing the identity, love and aspirations of each fan.

After many days of serious and professional work, the Organizing Committee has chosen a new logo for SLNA, the new logo was conceptualized and designed by the Pixco group.

The SLNA logo is a combination of a shield shape representing strength and solidity, inside is the letter “S”, the first letter of Song Lam Nghe An. The entire logo is a combination of traditional yellow and blue.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Truong Manh Linh expressed his most sincere thanks to the People's Committee of Nghe An province, the Department of Culture and Sports of Nghe An, former leaders of the club, authors, and beloved fans who have devoted all their passion and love to SLNA.

Mr. Linh emphasized that from today, SLNA will be associated with a new Logo, hoping that from now on, SLNA's logo will bring inspiration, luck and success. Opening a new step in professionalism, building and developing the brand in the field of football and sports. From there, helping the club have more inspiration to strive to compete well on many fronts and meet the expectations and desires of fans.

Author Tran Van Thang, a member of Pixco group, said: The logo was developed based on the source of materials and inspiration about the value and identity of Song Lam Nghe An Club in the cultural flow of Nghe An.

From that inspiration, the logo of Song Lam Nghe An Club is designed concisely, meaningfully, modernly and strongly to bring a fresh breath but still fully express the cultural values ​​and qualities of Nghe An people.

At the ceremony, Mr. Truong Manh Linh, on behalf of SLNA's Board of Directors, expressed gratitude to Mr. Nguyen Hong Thanh, Mr. Ho Van Chiem and the author of the old logo - artist Tran Tu Thanh.
