Song Lam Nghe An is trialing two foreign players.
After terminating the contracts of center-back Mario Zebic and striker Success, Song Lam Nghe An has almost found a new pair of foreign players, who are considered suitable for the team's current playing style.
At the end of the 2023-2024 season, Song Lam Nghe An only managed to stay in the V-League thanks to a spectacular last-minute escape. After thorough research, Song Lam Nghe An has successfully approached striker Benjamin Kuku, a Nigerian national, and center-back Sebastián Zaracho, a Paraguayan national.
Benjamin Kuku, born in 1995, is 1.89m tall and primarily plays as a striker. According to Transfer Markt, Kuku's highest transfer value was €400,000 (in 2017). His current value is approximately €175,000.
Kuku first played professionally for second-division clubs in Romania. For the last six seasons, Benjamin Kuku played for teams in the Israeli National Championship, mostly for Hapoel Kfar Saba.
Benjamin Kuku's performance in the Israeli National Championship includes 47 goals in 232 matches. In the 2023/24 season, the striker played 22 matches for Hapoel Kfar Saba and scored 6 goals. Benjamin Kuku's best season was in 2018/2019 while playing for Hapoel Kfar Saba, where he scored 14 goals in 37 matches.
As for center-back Sebastián Zaracho, born in 1999, he is 1.86m tall and his highest transfer value was 500,000 Euros (in 2023), while his current value is around 250,000 Euros.
Zaracho previously played in the Paraguayan and Bolivian national leagues. In 2022, he played 28 matches for Deportivo Aurora of Bolivia, and in 2023, he played 27 matches, scoring 3 goals for the team.
