Sony The ColleXion: Limited edition headphones coming soon with a record-breaking price tag.
Sony's brand new over-ear headphone model, The ColleXion, is expected to launch in May at a price of 629 Euros, positioning it significantly higher than the familiar WH-1000X series.
Sony is preparing to create a new turning point in the personal audio market with a completely different device. According to leaked information from leaker billbil-kun, the Japanese brand will unveil a wireless over-ear headphone model called The ColleXion on May 19th, targeting collectors and luxury audio users.
The strategy involves differentiating from the traditional WH-1000X line.
Although Sony registered the name The ColleXion nearly a year ago in Canada and Japan, the true purpose of this product line is only now gradually becoming clear. Previously, analysts predicted it was just the name of a collection for the WH-1000X series; however, the latest information confirms that The ColleXion is a standalone product.

The departure from the popular 1000X series demonstrates Sony's ambition to set a new standard in design and brand value. Alongside the Inzone H6 Air gaming laptop, scheduled for release on April 14th, The ColleXion is considered Sony's "trump card" for the second quarter of this year.
Limited edition design and a price tag of 629 Euros.
The ColleXion is revealed to feature a sleek, glossy black finish, giving it a luxurious and distinctive look compared to mainstream headphones. The product is likely to be released as a limited edition, targeting audiophiles who want to own an iconic device.

The most noteworthy point is the expected price of 629 Euros (approximately over 19 million VND). This is about 40% higher than the current WH-1000XM6 model. This price places The ColleXion in a completely new segment, directly competing with rivals in the hi-end headphone group.
Expectations for breakthrough technology
Although detailed specifications regarding noise cancellation (ANC) or audio drivers have yet to be revealed, given the record-breaking price, experts expect Sony to equip it with the most advanced audio processing technologies. The use of a unique name also suggests that this could be a completely new technological platform rather than just an upgrade from previous versions.
The launch of The ColleXion demonstrates a clear shift in Sony's thinking: focusing not only on technical performance but also on the exclusivity and collectible value of the product. Global users will have to wait until May 19th to see the true appearance of Sony's most premium headphone to date.
