324th Division, 4th Military Region, hands over 'Comrade's House'.

(Baonghean.vn) - On November 25th, the 1st Infantry Regiment, 324th Division (Military Region 4), in coordination with Cat Van commune, Thanh Chuong district, held a ceremony to hand over a "Comrade's House" to the family of Captain Tran Cong Hoa, a professional soldier of the 1st Battalion, 1st Infantry Regiment.

Comrade Tran Cong Hoa is in a particularly difficult situation; his parents have passed away, he has many siblings, and his children are frequently ill. The family's economy depends mainly on his salary, so they do not have the means to build a house.

Leaders and commanders of the 1st Infantry Regiment and local Party and government officials of Cat Van commune, Thanh Chuong district, cut the ribbon to inaugurate the "Comrade's House" for Captain Tran Cong Hoa, a military ordnance officer in the 1st Battalion.

Previously, Captain Hoa and his wife lived with his older brother in a dilapidated wooden house. The "Comrades' House" built and gifted to Captain Hoa's family is a 100m² single-story house with a corrugated iron roof for sun protection.²The total construction cost was 360 million VND. Of that amount, the Ministry of National Defense allocated 70 million VND in cash from the "Comrade's House" fund to the family. The 1st Infantry Regiment formed a construction team of 10 officers and soldiers who provided all the labor for the construction.

On this occasion, officers and soldiers of the 1st Infantry Regiment donated money from their salaries to buy Comrade Hoa's family a Sony television.
