The Burj Khalifa in Dubai is the world's tallest building, with 164 floors and a height of 828 meters, surpassing even the World Trade Center in Manhattan (USA). Visitors can see the Burj Khalifa glittering like a sharp needle at night from anywhere in the city.
The building first opened in 2010 with a lavish and expensive public unveiling ceremony. The Burj Khalifa took five years to complete, employed 12,000 workers, and cost over $1.5 billion to build. Its construction speed is also ranked among the fastest in the world, with some periods seeing the completion of a new floor every three days.

The tower's foundation was dug 43 meters below ground level, and it took workers four months to clean all 24,000 windows. Besides its height record, the Burj Khalifa holds several other records, including the tallest aluminum and glass structure, the highest observation deck, and the world's fastest elevator (64 km/h).
The tower was originally named Burj Dubai but was later renamed Burj Khalifa. The reason given was that the apartments were too expensive, causing the project to fail to sell well. Dubai was forced to seek help from the Emir of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who provided billions of dollars to cover its debts. The tower was then renamed on its opening day to honor the generous royal.
The temperature difference between the lowest and highest floors of the tower is enormous, up to 15 degrees Celsius. The times of sunrise and sunset are also separated by an hour. On foggy days, those working on the upper floors can't even see the city below.

The rent for an apartment at the Burj Khalifa is $55,000 per year, but the service fees reach $25,000, causing dissatisfaction among many customers. Despite this, 90% of the apartments at the Burj Khalifa are always occupied.
