Repairing electric kettle, old man was electrocuted, died on the spot
While repairing a damaged electric kettle, a 76-year-old man was suddenly electrocuted and died on the spot.
At around 7:00 a.m. on June 21, at the home of Mrs. Tran Thi Muoi (74 years old, in Tan Diem village, Pho Thanh commune, Duc Pho district, Quang Ngai), an electric shock occurred, killing Mr. Ngo Xuan Xanh (76 years old, Mrs. Muoi's husband) on the spot.

According to Mrs. Muoi, at that time she was in the living room while Mr. Xanh was busy fixing the electric kettle in the kitchen.
A moment later, she came downstairs and saw her husband holding an electric kettle lying motionless on the kitchen floor. Mr. Xanh's stomach and fingers were burned in many places. Mrs. Muoi immediately called the neighbors for help, but Mr. Xanh had died before that.
Upon receiving the news, the authorities arrived at the scene and conducted an investigation, but found nothing unusual, so the victim's family did not make any request to law enforcement and received the body for burial according to local customs.
