While repairing a broken electric kettle, a 76-year-old man was unexpectedly electrocuted and died on the spot.
At approximately 7:00 AM on June 21st, an electric shock occurred at the home of Mrs. Tran Thi Muoi (74 years old, residing in Tan Diem village, Pho Thanh commune, Duc Pho district, Quang Ngai province), resulting in the immediate death of her husband, Mr. Ngo Xuan Xanh (76 years old).

According to Mrs. Mười, she was in the living room at the time while Mr. Xanh was busy repairing the electric kettle in the kitchen.
A little later, when she went downstairs, she found her husband lying motionless on the kitchen floor, clutching the electric kettle. His stomach and fingers were severely burned in several places. Mrs. Mười immediately called for neighbors to help, but Mr. Xanh had already died.
Upon receiving the report, the authorities arrived at the scene and conducted an investigation. However, after checking, they found nothing unusual, so the victim's family made no further requests to the legal authorities and received the body for burial according to local customs.
