Currently, the rifle is produced and deployed in limited quantities to evaluate its effectiveness in real-world situations. In the future, it is hoped that the STL-A1 will replace the AKM, and the Galil Ace will replace the AK-47, becoming an effective weapon pair that enhances the combat capabilities of the heroic Vietnam People's Army.
