Homemade gun accidentally discharges, seriously injuring 10-year-old boy.
On the afternoon of January 6th, a tragic accident occurred in Dak Nhoong village, Kon Tum province, where a 10-year-old boy was seriously injured while playing with a homemade gun.
The incident occurred at 3:30 PM. While playing with his three brothers in the family's coffee storage shed, six-year-old A Quan spotted a muzzle-loading rifle and started playing with it. Unexpectedly, the gun accidentally discharged, hitting ten-year-old Trung, a fourth-grade student and Quan's older brother, in the head.

Due to the severity of the wound, with the bullet traveling from the ear area through the temple, A Trung is getting weaker and weaker despite being immediately taken to Kon Tum Provincial General Hospital by his parents for emergency treatment.
Mr. A Tau, the father of the two children, said that after questioning his children, he learned that the muzzle-loading rifle had been borrowed by his 17-year-old son and stored in the warehouse without being unloaded.
