The Bentley Bentayga luxury SUV is being recalled due to loose seats.

A total of 88 Bentley Bentayga vehicles are being recalled in the US due to defects related to the dashboard and interior seats.

Bentley recently announced a recall of its ultra-luxury SUV, the Bentayga, in the US market. The reason is that Bentley discovered looseness in the dashboard and seats of the Bentayga.

This defect was discovered during Bentley's reassessment of Bentayga models in the US. According to Bentley, the system used to store the Bentayga's torque values ​​was either missing or displaying unreliable values. Bentley also found that some bolts were not tightened properly, affecting the seats and instrument cluster of the Bentayga.

Over time, the instrument cluster and seats of a Bentley Bentayga can loosen, leading to rattling noises. Furthermore, loose parts can increase the risk of injury to occupants in the event of an accident.

To rectify this issue, Bentley decided to recall 88 Bentayga vehicles in the US market to check the torque of the bolts. If any bolts are found to be loose, they will be tightened. Of course, the inspection and repair will be completely free of charge.

It is currently unclear whether the Bentley Bentayga vehicles already imported into Vietnam will be affected. At the recent VIMS 2016 exhibition, Bentley officially introduced the ultra-luxury SUV Bentayga to Vietnamese consumers. The Bentley Bentayga unveiled at VIMS 2016 was painted in gloss black.

In Vietnam, there are currently a total of four different Bentley Bentayga models, evenly divided between two colors: bronze and gloss black. Of these, one in black and one in bronze are officially imported vehicles. The other two were brought to Vietnam through private import channels.

Currently, two Bentley Bentayga cars have found owners in Vietnam and been registered with white license plates. One, a glossy black Bentley Bentayga with a white license plate registered in Saigon, belongs to the family of "hot girl" Huyền Baby's husband. The genuine gold-colored one, however, belongs to a wealthy businessman from Ninh Bình.

Dubbed the world's fastest and most powerful SUV, the Bentley Bentayga uses a 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged W12 engine, producing a maximum power of 600 horsepower and a maximum torque of 900 Nm. Power is transmitted to all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission. As a result, the Bentley Bentayga can accelerate from 0-96 km/h in 4 seconds before reaching a top speed of 301 km/h.

The exact price of the Bentley Bentayga when imported to Vietnam is currently unknown. Meanwhile, in the US market, the standard Bentley Bentayga starts at $229,100, equivalent to 5.1 billion VND. With this price, the Bentley Bentayga is the most expensive commercially available SUV in the world.
