(Baonghean.vn) - DThe Vinh Pass, over 1km long, is located in Xuan Tien hamlet, Giai Xuan commune (Tan Ky district). Recently, this pass has seriously deteriorated, with many potholes and serious landslides, posing a danger to vehicles traveling through it.
| The Vinh Pass is considered by locals to be a "death road" that runs along the mountainside, with a steep slope and many dangerous curves. This is a vital road connecting Giai Xuan and Tan Hop communes, with a lot of traffic, but in recent years the road has deteriorated increasingly severely. |
| Water flowing from the mountain stream has caused erosion at many points along the road, forming drainage ditches right in the middle of the road. |
| Locals had to use stones to fill the sinkhole so that vehicles could pass through. |
| A section of the roadside has collapsed, exposing layers of soil and rocks. |
| This road was originally paved with asphalt, but it has now peeled off due to rain and sun exposure. The road is rough and full of pebbles, making it dangerous for everyone to travel on. |
| Everyone is apprehensive when traveling along this road. Many locals added that accidents and vehicle rollovers occur on this stretch every year. In 2015, a serious sugarcane truck rollover accident occurred on the Vinh slope, resulting in one death and one seriously injured person. |
| A truck carrying construction materials got stuck in the mud while going up Vinh slope. |
