Car driver hits traffic police officer while being stopped
When asked by traffic police to stop for inspection, the driver of a 12-seat car fled and crashed into a barrier blocking the arrest, seriously injuring a captain.

On the afternoon of July 27, a traffic police team on duty in Kong Chro town (Gia Lai) discovered a 12-seat car driving at high speed and signaled it to stop for inspection, but the driver did not comply.
The police informed another task force on duty on Provincial Road 667, about 6 km away, to use a specialized vehicle and 2 small trucks to form a barrier across the road and intercept them.
When the car approached the barrier, three traffic police officers signaled it to stop, but driver Nguyen Thanh Hung (33 years old, from Gia Lai) still drove the car head-on. Captain Nguyen Hoang Nha was thrown to the other side of the road and seriously injured.
The 12-seat car overturned on the side of the road, with many pieces of wood inside. In addition to the driver, there were also Pham Minh Sang (27 years old) and a 15-year-old boy in the car. After testing, Hung tested positive for drugs.
Hung is being detained by Kong Chro police for investigation.
