(Baonghean.vn) - At 5 PM on August 4th, a drowning incident occurred at the Lach dam in Van Phu hamlet, Hien Son commune (Do Luong district), resulting in the death of a 6th-grade student.
At that time, Tran Dang Tu, from Long Tho hamlet, Hien Son commune (Do Luong district), went fishing with his uncle at Lach dam.
A little while later, Tú went down to the dam to swim with two friends and was attacked.drowningUpon discovering that his nephew was drowning, Tú's uncle ran home to call for help, but by the time family members arrived, Tú had already sunk.

Around 6 PM that same day, Tú's body was brought ashore. His family and neighbors held a funeral for him that same day.
Tran Dang Tu is the child of a family classified as near-poor, with four children and facing very difficult economic circumstances.
