Authorities have detained a suspect who repeatedly set fire to his neighbor's motorbike out of a vendetta.
(Baonghean.vn) - In a short period of time, Lu Van Canh used straw to set fire to two of his neighbor's motorcycles due to a personal conflict.
On October 1st, the Con Cuong District Police announced that they are currently holding Lu Van Canh (born in 2000), residing in Xieng village, Don Phuc commune, Con Cuong district, under criminal detention for the act of "destroying other people's property"

Accordingly, on the morning of September 29, 2021, the Don Phuc Commune Police, Con Cuong District, received a report from Mr. VVH (born in 2001), residing in Xieng village, Don Phuc commune, stating that: At 10:30 PM on September 28, 2021, Mr. H. parked his motorbike on the roadside to go to a friend's house in Xieng village. At 11:30 PM the same day, Mr. H. discovered that his motorbike, worth approximately 13 million VND, was on fire.
Within two hours of receiving the report, the Don Phuc commune police quickly investigated and identified Lu Van Canh as the perpetrator who set fire to Mr. H's motorbike.

At the police station, the suspect Canh confessed that due to a personal conflict, he used straw to set fire to Mr. H's motorbike. In addition to the above incident, Canh also confessed that on the evening of September 20, 2021, he also used straw to set fire to Mr. VVT's motorbike, residing in Xieng village, Don Phuc commune, with the intention of revenge.
