3 suspects detained for stealing steel plates on the highway
(Baonghean.vn) - Three subjects stole and traded B40 steel mesh panels on the highway, with initial estimates of total damage reaching nearly 100 million VND.
Previously, the Quynh Luu District Police received a report from the public about the discovery of thieves stealing dozens of B40 steel mesh panels, used to block livestock on the North-South Expressway. This is a road under construction in Quynh My Commune, Quynh Luu, Nghe An.
After receiving the report, Quynh Luu District Police quickly mobilized maximum force to verify and clarify. At 9:00 p.m. on April 21, 2014, the police arrested Tran Van Than (born in 1968) and Tran Van Thanh (born in 1990), both residing in Quynh My Commune, Quynh Luu, as the two suspects.theft of property.
During the investigation, the suspects confessed that after stealing the steel plates, they sold them to Truong Dac Thao (born in 1970, residing in Quynh My commune, Quynh Luu district) for 12 million VND.
Currently, Quynh Luu District Police are detaining the above 3 subjects and continuing to investigate.
