The suspect who assaulted the bus employee has been taken into criminal custody.
On October 3rd, the Criminal Investigation Agency of the Nghe An Provincial Police issued a decision to temporarily detain Nguyen Van Hoa (born in 1987), residing in Tan Ky commune, Nghe An province, on charges of disturbing public order.
Accordingly, on the afternoon of October 1st, the Tan Ky Commune Police received information from the public about a conflict and fight occurring between a group of people at the Tan Ky bus station, Block 2, Tan Ky Commune, Nghe An Province. Information about this incident was also posted on social media. After receiving the report, under the direction of the Provincial Police leadership, the Tan Ky Commune Police quickly dispatched a task force to verify the information and summoned Nguyen Van Hoa (born in 1987), residing in Quy Hau Hamlet, Tan Ky Commune, Nghe An Province; Nguyen Khac Binh (born in 1977), residing in Truong Vinh Ward, Nghe An Province; and Nguyen Thi Ngoc (born in 1986), residing in Kim Lien Commune, Nghe An Province (both employees of the Thach Thanh bus company operating the Tan Ky - Vinh route (formerly)) for questioning.

During the investigation, the police clarified that due to a conflict during the transportation of goods, Nguyen Van Hoa used his bare hands, belt, and sandals to beat Mr. Binh and forced him to kneel on the road to apologize. Seeing this, Ms. Ngoc intervened but was kicked by Hoa.
Currently, the police have issued a decision to temporarily detain Nguyen Van Hoa on charges of disturbing public order, to be processed according to the law.
