Police lieutenant detained in fatal shooting

According to initial investigation, on the evening of January 6, due to a conflict, Nguyen Tan Ph. went to the rented room of Mr. Bui Viet Hai (30 years old, from Hai Phong) to talk.
During the argument, Ph. pulled out the gun he was carrying and the gun accidentally went off, causing the bullet to pierce Hai's head.
Victim Bui Viet Hai collapsed on the spot. After committing the crime, Nguyen Tan Ph. fled the scene on a motorbike.
Mr. Bui Viet Hai was taken to the hospital by local people for emergency treatment. However, due to the severity of his injuries, Mr. Hai died at Dong Nai General Hospital on the morning of January 7.
According to initial information, the conflict may have been due to Mr. Hai and Ph.'s daughter having a romantic relationship, so Ph. prevented it. The case is being further investigated by Dong Nai Police./.
