With impressive individual scores, Jun Pham helped the contestants overcome the elimination round. The collaboration between the five newcomers and Trang Phap also brought many surprises.
In episode 12 of the Rookie All-Round show, the contestants entered Performance Round 5 with intense rules, where the results depended on their own performances and those of the guest artists. The highlight of the night was the performance by Jun Pham, who dramatically turned the tables on the rookie team.

According to the competition rules, Jun Phạm's solo performance will directly contribute to the total score of Round 1 for the rookie promotion group. To help the entire team surpass the 6,000-point mark, the male singer must achieve more than 1,625 points. This pressure is causing Jun Phạm considerable anxiety.
“When I first came here, I thought I would just perform and then go home… But sitting in the waiting room, the feeling was exactly the same as when I participated in 'Brotherhood Overcoming a Thousand Obstacles'. My biggest fear was that if I didn't win, would any rookie have to drop out of the competition because of my performance?” Jun Pham confided.
With his stage presence and powerful energy in his performance of "Absolutely Thrilling," Jun Pham excellently earned 1,758 points. This number not only helped him complete the challenge but also directly raised his total score in Round 1 to 6,133, helping the Rookie team officially advance past the elimination round.

Earlier, three solo performances by the rookies took place with dramatic results. Producer SOOBIN chose Cuong Bach, Lam Anh, and Wonbi for the individual competition. Wonbi, who had previously been in the bottom two, delivered an energetic "VAR" performance and received 1,416 votes.
Lam Anh performed the song "Busy" with an emotional voice. Despite his efforts to overcome difficulties during practice, he only received 1,370 points, a surprising result that left him feeling a little disappointed.
Cuong Bach delivered the most explosive performance, showcasing his stage presence and earning the highest score in the three solo rounds with 1,589 points. However, the combined score of all three was still insufficient to surpass the program's target, putting the entire team in a difficult position before Jun Pham appeared.

In Round 2, five newcomers, including Duy Lân, Đức Duy, Long Hoàng, Phúc Nguyên, and Thái Lê Minh Hiếu, collaborated with the beautiful Trang Pháp on the song "Barbie". This challenge required the contestants to demonstrate maturity, masculinity, and not be overshadowed by a more experienced artist.
The "Barbie" version on the stage of Performance 5 brought a fresh feel, both preserving the spirit of the original song and creating space for newcomers to showcase their progress. Duy Lân was highly praised and performed the duet dance segment with Trang Pháp.
SOOBIN commented: “SOOBIN found the actors very natural and comfortable... there wasn't any awkwardness or shyness at all. That's what professional artists should be like.”
At the end of episode 12, the scores for Round 2 remained a mystery, with the show only revealing two numbers, 1 and 4, further increasing the pressure on the contestants before entering the decisive Round 3.
