On April 12, at the 4th Conference of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 9th term, Mr. Do Van Chien, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, was unanimously elected by 100% of delegates attending the Conference to join the Committee, the Presidium and hold the position of Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 9th term, 2019-2024 term.
