Attacked highway toll station, robbed hundreds of millions of dong
On the morning of the third day of Tet, two young men armed with machetes and gun-like objects knocked out a toll station employee in Dong Nai province.

At 7:30 a.m. on February 7, two young men wearing black jackets, masks, sneakers, guns and machetes stormed into the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway toll station in Xuan Thanh commune, Thong Nhat district (Dong Nai).
They knocked down and threatened the employees, then took hundreds of millions of dong from the safe and put them in their backpacks. The two robbers got on a motorbike and sped off towards Highway 25, Thong Nhat District.

A representative of Vietnam Expressway Engineering Services Joint Stock Company (VEC) said they are working with the investigation agency and information related to the robbery will be announced later.
Dong Nai police are investigating the scene, extracting security cameras at the toll station and the entire surrounding area to search for the robbers.
