Tan Ky District has a new Chairman of the District People's Committee.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of April 22, the Tan Ky District People's Council, 18th term, 2016-2021, held its 15th session to address personnel matters and other issues within its authority.

Attending the meeting were Comrade Ngoc Kim Nam - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department, along with leaders of various departments and agencies.
At the meeting, the Tan Ky District People's Council reviewed the proposal, discussed, and elected Mr. Phan Van Giap, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, to the position of Chairman of the District People's Committee. As a result, 94.44 delegates voted in favor of electing Mr. Phan Van Giap as Chairman of the District People's Committee for the 18th term, 2016-2021.

The meeting also proceeded with the dismissal of the Head of the Economic and Social Affairs Committee and the election of additional members to the District People's Committee.
Speaking at the session, Comrade Phan Van Giap - the newly elected Chairman of the District People's Committee - expressed his gratitude for the attention and trust of the District People's Council delegates. In his new position, he pledged to strive and work together with the collective to fulfill his responsibilities and duties well, contributing to the promotion of socio-economic development and maintaining security and defense in the district.Tan Ky.
