Tan Ky DistrictA community outbreak of Covid-19 began on November 22nd, with 3 large and complex clusters, including Nghia Dong commune and one hamlet in Nghia Hoan commune, which had to be placed under lockdown and medical quarantine.

Thanks to the active and urgent involvement of all levels and sectors from the district to the province, Tan Ky has basically brought the outbreaks under control after one week. All new infections in recent days have been within the lockdown and quarantine areas.

Mr. Phan Van Giap, Chairman of the Tan Ky District People's Committee, said: After one week of implementing prevention and control measures.Covid-19 pandemicFrom the entire district being at level 2, and one commune and one hamlet at level 4, by the afternoon of November 29th, the District's Covid-19 Prevention and Control Steering Committee decided to move 19 communes and towns down to level 1; two communes, Nghia Hoan and Nghia Thai, and several hamlets remain at level 2; Nghia Dong commune and Thuan Yen hamlet (Nghia Hoan commune) are still at level 4, according toGovernment Resolution 128.

"In the coming period, the district will continue to strengthen propaganda efforts to raise awareness among the entire population regarding disease prevention and control. At the same time, based on regulations from higher levels, we will continue to implement several enhanced measures, avoiding complacency and negligence, with the goal of quickly repelling the epidemic and focusing on completing the socio-economic targets for 2021," Mr. Phan Van Giap shared.

Statistics show that from November 22nd to the morning of November 30th, Tan Ky district recorded 162 positive cases of Covid-19 (including 2 cases from other areas). Among the 160 positive cases in the community within the district, there were 4 teachers, 1 kindergarten student, 5 primary school students, 58 secondary school students, 30 high school students, and 1 case involving a member of the epidemic prevention and control force...
