(Baonghean.vn) - On April 11, Tan Ky district organized the reception of more than 32 tons of rice to support students in the district's especially difficult areas.

This is the amount of rice given to students who are eligible for rice support policies according to Decree 116/2016/QD-TTg dated July 18, 2016 of the Government regulating policies to support students and primary schools in extremely disadvantaged communes and villages. Accordingly, each student is supported with 15kg of rice/month according to the norm.
The District Department of Education and Training has worked with the National Reserve Department to receive and distribute the above amount of rice, ensuring the correct allocation. At the same time, it has guided and inspected the timely handover, receipt and distribution of rice to students, ensuring the quantity, coordinating with schools to transport rice and completing procedures.
