Tan Ky District receives national reserve rice to support students in particularly disadvantaged areas.

This is the amount of rice allocated to students eligible for rice support under Government Decree 116/2016/QD-TTg dated July 18, 2016, which stipulates policies to support students and schools in particularly difficult communes and villages. Accordingly, each student receives 15kg of rice per month according to the prescribed quota.

The District Department of Education and Training has worked with the National Reserve Bureau to receive and distribute the rice, ensuring that it is distributed to the correct recipients. Simultaneously, they have guided and inspected the handover, receipt, and distribution of rice to students in a timely manner, ensuring the correct quantity, and coordinated with schools to transport the rice and complete the necessary procedures.
