However, according to research, in reality, at the manual kilns in Tan Ky area, there are still more than 6 million unburned tiles, concentrated in Nghia Hoan commune.
The producers have requested the Cua - Nghia Hoan Tile Village Production and Service Cooperative to find a solution for the remaining unsold tiles and the remaining exploited clay.
Mr. Hoang Duy Luong, a tile kiln owner, said: "We completely implement the State's policy on eliminating handmade brick and tile kilns. As of December 31, 2017, all handmade brick and tile kilns in Nghia Hoan commune have stopped operating. However, currently, most kilns still have about 35,000 unburned tiles. The reason is that these tiles were built on December 20, 2017, but after that, it rained a lot so the tiles were not dry enough to put in the kiln before December 31, 2017. People hope that the State will create conditions to burn all the remaining tiles, and then commit to completely eliminating these handmade brick and tile kilns."

Currently, owners of manual brick and tile kilns in the district have stopped operating according to the State's policy.
On December 27, 2017, Tan Ky District People's Committee received a request from Cua Nghia Hoan Brick and Tile Village Production and Service Cooperative regarding the extension of brick and tile production in Nghia Hoan Commune, but the District People's Committee resolutely handled the matter in accordance with State regulations, requiring owners of handmade brick and tile kilns to stop operations./.
