Tan Son (Do Luong) achieves New Rural Area status.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 19, 2015, the Party Committee, the Government, and all the people of Tan Son commune (Do Luong district) held a ceremony to receive the certificate recognizing the commune as having achieved the New Rural Area standard in 2015 from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. Attending the ceremony were Comrade Dinh Viet Hong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and representatives from various provincial departments and agencies.
When embarking on the new rural development program, Tan Son commune had only met 9 out of 19 criteria, its infrastructure was inadequate, and people's living standards were uneven. With unwavering determination and effort, the commune mobilized over 154 billion VND to build infrastructure projects, with the people contributing 76 billion VND, accounting for nearly 50%. The commune successfully met all 19 criteria, achieving its goal in 2015 as part of the district's plan.

The entire commune has planned large-scale model fields and 5 high-income livestock farming models, becoming the first commune in the province to achieve an income of 5 tons/hectare. Hundreds of business and service groups have been formed throughout the commune, with a total social income currently reaching 236 billion VND and an average per capita income of 40 million VND/hectare. Office buildings, health stations, schools, and cultural centers meet standards; environmental protection is prioritized; and security and order are ensured.
Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Dinh Viet Hong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, acknowledged and praised the achievements of Tan Son commune. He requested that in the coming time, the commune continue to uphold the spirit of unity, continue to compete in the movement to build a new life, maintain and develop the criteria, and live up to the title of "Hero of Labor in the Renovation Period" bestowed by the Party and the State.
