2,000 national flags donated to fishermen in Dien Chau.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of March 22nd, the Youth Union of the Nghe An Provincial Military Command, in coordination with the Youth Union of Dien Chau District, the Military Bank, the Youth Union of Vinh Medical University, the Youth Union of Vinh University of Technology and Education, the Youth Union of Phan Boi Chau Specialized High School, and the Youth Union of Huynh Thuc Khang High School, organized the "I Love My Homeland" program, donating 2,000 national flags to fishermen in Dien Chau District.

"I Love My Homeland" is a practical movement to celebrate the 86th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2017), launched and organized by the Youth Union of the Nghe An Provincial Military Command in coordination with other youth organizations.
The movement was organized to contribute to raising awareness, responsibility, patriotism, creativity, and the sense of responsibility of young cadres and youth union members in the provincial armed forces and students towards the Fatherland in general and the task of protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands in Nghe An province in particular.

The "I Love My Homeland" movement encompasses many activities, the main one being the organization of fundraising to establish a fund to purchase new national flags for fishermen to display on their boats during their voyages. Other activities include disseminating information about the Law on the Sea and Islands, giving gifts to families of policy beneficiaries, and launching campaigns to clean up the marine environment.

Within the framework of the program, the Youth Union of the Nghe An Provincial Military Command and participating youth organizations and units donated 2,000 national flags to fishermen, and presented 12 gift packages to policy beneficiary families in Dien Ngoc commune, Dien Chau district, each gift package worth 500,000 VND. Notably, more than 200 youth union members participated in cleaning up the marine environment at Lach Van fishing port.
