Donated 44 "Warm winter blankets" to poor students in Son Hai commune

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of December 28, the Youth Union of Son Hai Commune (Quynh Luu) together with Yen Thai Pagoda coordinated with Son Hai Commune Primary and Secondary School to organize the program "Warm Winter Blankets" and presented "Red Scarf Chickens" to poor students of the school.

The program presented 44 warm blankets and 11 flocks of chickens, each with 10 chickens, to the school’s poor students, with a total cost of nearly 10 million VND. This is the amount of money that the Youth Union, Yen Thai Pagoda and the Son Hai Primary and Secondary School Union called on individuals, businesses and benefactors to support.

In the coming time, Yen Thai Pagoda will coordinate with the locality to continue to mobilize, collect donations and support to give Tet gifts to students and poor households. This is one of the activities in the program "Tet for poor students" of Yen Thai Pagoda and Son Hai Commune Youth Union.
