Donated 44 "Warm Winter Blankets" to poor students in Son Hai commune.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of December 28th, the Youth Union of Son Hai commune (Quynh Luu district), together with Yen Thai pagoda and Son Hai Primary and Secondary School, organized the "Warm Blankets for Winter" program and presented "Red Scarf Chicken Flocks" to poor students of the school.

The program donated 44 warm blankets and 11 flocks of chickens (10 chickens per flock) to underprivileged students at the school, with a total cost of nearly 10 million VND. This money was raised through appeals from individuals, businesses, and philanthropists by the Youth Union, Yen Thai Pagoda, and the Student Union of Son Hai Primary and Secondary School.

In the coming time, Yen Thai Pagoda will coordinate with the local authorities to continue mobilizing donations and support to give Tet gifts to students and poor households. This is one of the activities in the "Tet for Poor Students" program of Yen Thai Pagoda and the Youth Union of Son Hai commune.
