Strengthening international cooperation on strategic technologies
Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc has just signed Decision No. 139/QD-TTg dated August 11, 2026, promulgating the Strategy for International Cooperation on Strategic Technologies until 2030 (the Strategy).
Accordingly, the Strategy aims to expand cooperation, mobilize international resources, and create conditions for Vietnam to access, master, and enhance its capacity to develop strategic technologies.

To achieve this goal, the Strategy outlines six main groups of solutions, including: creating a favorable cooperation environment; effectively implementing international commitments and agreements; improving access to technology; enhancing technological development capacity; supporting businesses; and strengthening policy advice and proposals.
The strategy is expected to make a practical contribution to the implementation of the task of developing strategic technologies to serve sustainable development, ensure national defense and security, and enhance national technological self-reliance.
