Over the past month, the key issues discussed at the August 2024 regular meetings of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, and the Provincial People's Committee, as well as the leadership's direction and management activities, have been highlighted by the press. Numerous news articles have assessed the economic landscape of Nghe An in August 2024, reflecting positive signs from GDP growth and total import-export turnover. These articles have analyzed opportunities, challenges, and solutions to achieve the goals and scenarios set for 2024.

In addition, the press has published numerous articles reflecting on obstacles in land clearance, which have slowed down the construction progress of key projects; the situation of projects behind schedule; "stalled" projects; and projects using land for purposes other than intended. Hot issues on social media such as environmental pollution, oversized and overloaded vehicles, and scams and fraudulent activities via social media have also been reported and covered by the press.

In particular, over the past month, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department has highly praised the propaganda work regarding the 500 kV power line project (circuit 3), creating consensus and unity among the people, thus shortening the project's construction time. In addition, the press has also published many articles highlighting the 79th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2024), creating a heroic atmosphere and fostering patriotism in the new era.
Regarding the propaganda orientation for September 2024, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department requested media agencies to strengthen information and propaganda highlighting the results and achievements attained in all fields during the three years of implementing the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress and the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, in conjunction with the five groups of programs and 21 key projects.

In particular, in response to Typhoon No. 3 (Yagi), which is expected to affect the northern and north-central provinces, media outlets have increased the number of news articles warning about landslides; and proposing solutions to address the risk of heavy rain and flooding.

In response to the National Day for bringing children to school, media outlets should also publish more news and articles reflecting the atmosphere of the first day of school in all regions of the province.
In addition, the press also needs to prominently publicize major events and holidays in the month such as: the 122nd anniversary of the birth of Comrade Le Hong Phong (September 6, 1902 - September 6, 2024); International Literacy Day (September 8); the 94th anniversary of the Nghe Tinh Soviet (September 12, 1930 - September 12, 2024); the 69th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (September 10, 1955 - September 10, 2024); the 79th anniversary of the traditional day of the Vietnam Customs sector (September 10); the traditional day of the Signal Corps (September 9); the 114th anniversary of the birth of Comrade Nguyen Thi Minh Khai (September 30, 1910 - September 30, 2024)...
