The family of the late singer Kasim Hoang Vu has announced the funeral schedule in the US. The viewing will take place on March 13-14, and the remains will be cremated on the afternoon of March 15, 2026.
Singer Kasim Hoang Vu passed away on March 1, 2026, at his home in Texas, USA, at the age of 45. According to the obituary, the singer's funeral will be held at a Texas funeral home next week. Visitation will take place on March 13 and 14. Afterward, the late artist's remains will be cremated at 3 PM on March 15 (US time).

The singer's passing has shocked colleagues and fans alike. Trizzie Phuong Trinh expressed her sorrow upon receiving the obituary, hoping that in a peaceful place, her dear friend will no longer have to endure physical pain.

Show promoter Qui Ngoc, a long-time friend of the family, said that Ms. Bich Phuong - Kasim Hoang Vu's mother - personally chose the final coffin for her son. The sight of the mother suppressing her grief to arrange her son's funeral moved those who witnessed it.

Notably, Kasim Hoang Vu passed away suddenly after a coughing fit at his home. Although his mother, Bich Phuong, immediately called for emergency services, the singer did not survive. Prior to this, he had been battling a jaw bone tumor for a long time, which caused facial disfigurement and severely deteriorated his health.

After settling in the United States, he continued his passion for music by opening a studio and occasionally performing alongside his business ventures.

In his final years, despite losing over 20kg and struggling with eating, Kasim Hoang Vu maintained an optimistic spirit and worked diligently.
