Reportedly, this has been an annual activity of the CCB business community in Nghe An province for many years.

On the morning of January 16th, Lieutenant Colonel Thai Duc Hanh, Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command, led a delegation to visit, extend New Year greetings, and present gifts to 40 extremely poor households in Nghi Cong Nam and Nghi Cong Bac communes, Nghi Loc district.

In the two communes, the working group assessed the socio-economic development of the locality, especially inquiring about the living conditions of poor households and policy beneficiary families in the area; and also informed them about the economic development and national defense and security situation in the province.

On this occasion, the Provincial Military Command presented 40 gift packages to 40 extremely poor households in Nghi Cong Nam and Nghi Cong Bac communes. Each gift package included a gift bag and cash worth 500,000 VND. These gifts were funded by contributions from the "Tet for the Poor, Spring Dinh Dau 2017" campaign by officers and soldiers of the Provincial Military Command; the aim was to share and encourage poor households in the province to celebrate the traditional Tet holiday warmly and happily, strengthening the close bond between the military and the people.
