The National Assembly Deputies' meeting with voters was held in Chau Quang commune, Quy Hop district. |
On behalf of the National Assembly delegation, Mr. Tran Van Hang informed voters of the main contents of the 10th session of the 13th National Assembly.
Voters also proposed many issues that need attention and resolution. That is, Quang Huong hamlet, Ban Bang, Dong Huong has nearly 300 households, more than 1,000 people in the personal records recorded as Thanh ethnic group, but in the community of 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam, there is no Thanh ethnic group, so it causes many difficulties and affects the rights of the people. It is recommended that the National Assembly, all levels and sectors consider amending the records and personal records from Thanh ethnic group to Thai ethnic group to ensure the same rights as other ethnic groups.

Voters also said that currently Ban Le and Ban Ang have suffered serious landslides that have reached close to people's houses, causing dozens of hectares of residential and production land to be lost. People have made many requests but there has been no effective solution. Therefore, they requested that all levels and sectors provide financial support to relocate people to avoid danger and stabilize their lives.
In addition, relevant sectors need to reassess the environmental impact of mineral exploitation. The preferential regime for people who have contributed to the repair and construction of houses is still too slow to be implemented. Currently, Chau Quang has 108 households with applications for recognition of their contributions to the revolution, but by the end of 2015, only 7 of them had received support.
