"Bitcoin is a US intelligence project, created to rapidly fund the operations of US, British, and Canadian intelligence agencies in various countries," asserted Kasperskaya in her presentation prepared for a lecture at the opening ceremony of the ITMO University training center in St. Petersburg.
According to Kasperskaya, Bitcoin is a kind of "dollar 2.0," and its creator, known by the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto, is in fact a group of American cryptographic system designers.
The presentation also noted that smartphones can be "spy" devices monitoring their owners, Sputnik writes.
