ThaiBinh Seed Group Joint Stock Company its predecessor wasThai Binh Rice Seed Company,established inEstablished in 1972, it was one of the earliest seed enterprises in Vietnam. It has gone through several important milestones: in 1978, it changed its name to Thai Binh Seed Company; in 1987, the company pioneered the "Contracting the final product to the worker" model. At the Dong Co breeding farm (Tien Hai), this contributed to the abolition of the rationing system, paving the way for the transition from a subsidized economy to a business-based accounting system.
