Training on doping prevention and injury management for high-performance athletes in Nghe An.
On the afternoon of December 13th, the opening ceremony of a training course on doping prevention and control, injury prevention and initial injury treatment for athletes took place at the Nghe An Provincial Sports Training and Competition Center. The course was led by top Vietnamese experts in doping prevention and control and injury prevention and treatment.

Attending the Opening Ceremony of the training course were Ms. Pham Thi Thinh - Director of the Sports Training and Competition Center, Head of the Organizing Committee; Mr. Le Minh Ha - Director of the Vietnam Anti-Doping Center; Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Anh Tuan - Lecturer at Bac Ninh University of Sports and Physical Education; and representatives from the Organizing Committee.Head of the Sports Management Department of the Nghe An Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Speaking at the Opening Ceremony, Ms. Pham Thi Thinh - Director of the Sports Training and Competition Center - emphasized: “Doping prevention and control is not only a mandatory regulation but also a responsibility and ethical duty of every coach and athlete, contributing to building a clean, fair, and noble image of sports. In addition, proactively preventing injuries and mastering the skills of timely and correct initial treatment will help athletes minimize risks and improve effectiveness in training and competition.”

The training course was attended by nearly 500 coaches and athletes from the Nghe An Provincial Sports Training and Competition Center and the Song Lam Nghe An Youth Football Training Center.
During the training session, coaches and athletes received direct instruction from experts on two topics: Doping prevention and control; and injury prevention and initial injury treatment.


Through this training course, the organizers aim to raise awareness and understanding of the importance of anti-doping in sports activities among athletes, coaches, medical staff, and management personnel; and to help athletes and coaches understand the role of injury prevention and recovery methods after exercise.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, the training course commenced with enthusiastic instruction from experts and contributions from coaches and athletes. The training course lasted for two days, December 13-14.
