(Baonghean.vn) - As of the morning of January 10th, 72 F0 cases have been recorded at Minh Anh - Kim Lien Garment Joint Stock Company in Hung Dong commune, Vinh City. The city and the company are focusing their efforts on epidemic control there.
Minh Anh - Kim Lien Garment Joint Stock CompanyThe company, located in Hung Dong commune, Vinh City, has been continuously recording Covid-19 infections among its workers. As of the morning of January 10th, the company had 72 F0 cases, including 28 in Vinh City and the remaining F0 cases residing in other districts of the province.
Recognizing this as a complex cluster of cases, the Nghe An CDC, the Vinh City People's Committee, and Minh Anh Kim Lien Garment Joint Stock Company held a meeting on the afternoon of January 9th to devise measures to combat the outbreak with a strong determination to quickly contain the outbreak, stabilize production and business at the company, and ensure the well-being of the workers.

Dr. Chu Trong Trang - Deputy Director of the Nghe An CDC, stated that it is necessary to urgently conduct early testing to promptly detect F0 cases. Furthermore, from January 10th, workers without a negative Covid-19 test certificate will not be allowed to enter the company to work. In addition, the company needs to rearrange the dining area and disinfect it according to regulations; arrange separate restrooms for production lines without infections; implement separate work shifts, with continued disinfection and cleaning after each shift; and stop all food and beverage services located in front of the company gate...
Speaking with reporters, Mr. Tran Quang Lam - Vice ChairmanVinh City People's CommitteeAccording to reports, Minh Anh - Kim Lien Garment Joint Stock Company has a total of 3,200 workers. The city has instructed a review of the number of workers and requires all workers residing in Vinh City and surrounding districts who have returned to their hometowns to declare their health status and undergo testing. Only those with negative results will be allowed to work at the company.
In addition, Vinh City has also directed the closure of restaurants in Hung Dong and Nghi Kim communes where F0 cases had previously eaten. For production lines and departments with a high number of F0 and F1 cases, temporary closures are mandated for disease prevention, while other departments continue to operate normally to avoid disrupting the factory's production process.

"The tracing of F1 cases is also being urgently implemented by Vinh City. By the morning of January 10th, 306 F1 contacts of these 72 F0 cases had been identified, mainly workers of the company. These F1 cases have been isolated and monitored according to regulations. It is known that if the outbreak becomes complicated, depending on the actual situation, the company will temporarily suspend production for 3 days to conduct testing, containment, and tracing to promptly isolate F0 cases from the company, determined to control the outbreak as soon as possible..." - Mr. Tran Quang Lam emphasized.
